Striped mug - blue grey

Wheelthrown mug made of brown stoneware clay. When the mug is leather hard the design is carved by hand. The inside and top rim of the mug is glazed in a slightly translucent white glaze while the outside is glazed in grey overlapping the white. The glaze is slightly speckled due to the manganese in the clay body.
